1552, Political dimensions

In August 1552, weary from three decades of religious civil war,
                     [with the Peace of Passau, Charles guaranteed Lutherans religious freedoms.

It had been five years after the Holy Roman Emperor's victory against Protestant forces

                                [in the Schmalkaldic War...…. A miracle ? God-blessed the kingdoms ?

Luther was no longer alive and will never see
                                                    [the millions of people influenced by him, one or the other way.

Probably I am the only one who saw a political dimension in his words ...... for example,
                ["You are not only responsible for what you say, but also for what you do not say".
