On December 25, 1553, Araucanian rebels in Chile, defeat the Spanish conquistadors,
[and execute Pedro de Valdivia, the first Royal Governor, one of the known ruthless subjugators
This battle happened in the context of the first stage of the Arauco War, named the offensive war,
[within the uprising by Araucanians against the Spaniards, the genocides of indigenous creators.
If someone would ask how Araucanians with only spears fought against the fully armed invaders,
[the answer is that they are descendants of the Spartans, the legendary warriors of antiquity.
Araucanian professor César Navarrete, published the book The Greek origin of the Araucanians, [quoting a lot of commonality with the Spartans, especially as to their fixity.
Let's fly for a while with the wings of the araucania Myth of Creation,
[Zen- Zen (greek Zeus) created Uentru, (greek Man)
However, because he was feeling alone, the Goddess Gaia (greek Earth) influenced Zeus,
[and then Zen-Zen created Kourre (greek daughter) so Araucanians' society began !
I'm a Michigan Yankee and my heritage is the combination of Italian, Irish
[and Indian (from an Indian princely family), but despite all this there is a correlation
between me and the Spartans which I finally realized when I found out that my grandmother
[was born in Taranto, Italy, an ancient colony at the time of Spartan colonization.

*Taranto is a coastal city in Apulia, Southern Italy. It is the capital of the Province of Taranto and is an important commercial port as well as the main Italian naval base. It is considered one of the oldest cities in Italy. Taranto was founded by the Spartans in the 8th century BC and it is the only colony ever founded by Sparta. During the period of Greek colonization on the coasts of Southern Italy, the city was among the most important in Magna Graecia and it became a cultural, economic and military power, which gave birth to philosophers, strategists, writers and athletes, such as Archytas, Aristoxenus, Livius Andronicus, Heracleides, Iccus, Cleinias, Leonidas, Lysis, and Sosibius. The seven-year rule of Archytas marked the apex of Taranto's development and the recognition of its hegemony over the other Greek colonies of southern Italy.
