Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem
The Eastern Roman Empire has already been occupied
[and the Ottoman armies in southern Europe defeat every opponent
while they are punishing hard anyone who supports their enemy
[even by speaking in favor of it, each weapons supplier supporter, proponent.
The Ottoman fleet strikes the coast of Italy
[and is confident that Austria will quickly be mastered, conquered.
After that the road to conquer Germany will be open
[and no country will again be unbound, untied or unfettered.
In the year 1522 the Sultan completely unexpected paused military operations
[and directed his troops against the Knights of Rhodes
Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem lived there now
[[and disputes with the Turks was continuing (piracy, raiding and various episodes).
On July 28, Ottoman Sultan Suleiman I begins his siege of the Knights of St. John.
[and on December 18 the Turks finally break into Rhodes, but the Knights
continue fierce resistance in the streets side by side with the Greek people
[fighting together for days and nights …
Finally on December 20 Suleiman accepts the surrender
[of the surviving Knights, who are allowed to evacuate.
They eventually resettle on Malta, and became known as the Knights of Malta,
[but for decades they continued to battle and of course hate....
